Our festive farm yard five is a 5 mile run starting and finishing at a brewery.
All profits from this event will be donated to a charity dedicated to research of type 1 diabetes. They are soon to be called Breakthrough T1D (Formerly JDRF).
The race entry fee includes a Santa hat, with runners also encouraged to dress in festive gear.
Starting and finishing at the brewery, runners will head out along Gulf Lane, with views over the open countryside and the Trough of Bowland hills.
We will have an aid station at half way serving water.
Once back at the brewery, you can claim your prize of a well deserved pint of beer and collect your mince pie.
The tap room will be open from 11:00am for runners and spectators to keep warm and register for the race.
All entrants names will be placed into a draw to win 6 cans of Farm Yard Brew Co. beers. The draw will take place on the day, prior to the race start.
NB: There will be no medals handed out at the finish, but you will get a voucher for a free pint of beer or soft drink.
Feel free to bring along friends and family as the tap room will be open all day.
There will also be a street food vendor on site for all to purchase food after the run.
